Chase Sapphire Reserve Credit Card

ARE YOU PRE-APPROVED?

2/10/17 Update: Chase has stopped in-branch pre-approvals for the Chase Sapphire Reserve.  Contact info for the relationship banker has been removed from this post.

Note: this post is intended for those who reside in NYC or can access Manhattan Chase branches.

Here's an easy way to find out if you are pre-approved for the Chase Sapphire Reserve 100k Offer: by phone. For those of you who have applied for too many cards (over 5/24) and are too lazy to commute to your local NYC Chase, there is another way. You can call the Chase banker who helped my friend find out he was pre-approved in branch after first getting rejected (and that I was not pre-approved). He will be able to check if you are pre-approved. If you are under 5 credit cards in 24 months you, see my previous post on how to apply.

You'll need to provide your name and ssn over the phone. 15 seconds later you'll know if you are pre-approved.  If yes, I kindly ask that you apply in-branch through him so that he can get credit for the app. (I don't get anything from this.)

As I pointed out two days ago, my friend was rejected then approved in-branch for the Chase Sapphire Reserve 100k bonus.  I picked up his business card for my lazy friends who do not want to waste time going.  So far, 2 out of 10 friends called and were pre-approved. They were super excited and will be making their way to signup in-branch through Eli.

Below is a picture of his business card if it gives you more comfort that this is a legitimate Chase banker.  Note: if you do not feel comfortable providing your personal info over the phone, don't call… Good luck everyone!

  1. Is Eli still replying to people interested in the Reserve card. I have left messages with him for over a week with no replies from him.
