Starwood announced their Q2 2013 Promotion and, well, its not terribly exciting.  

• They are offering double points from May 1 to July 31 and there is a LONG list of non-participating hotels.
• You can get 500 bonus points if you use their mobile site (spg.com) or the app for iphone or android.
• Lastly, you may still be able to get some bonus points (250) if you connect with FourSquare or Facebook (click here for details) and then check in when you are at a SPG hotel.  I'm still waiting to get points from my check-ins and I've forgotten the last couple of times to actually checkin on FourSquare.

To sign up for the Q2 Promo, you will have to text Starwood and they will notify you in late April.  Text DBLT to 44264 in the U.S. or 447950080934 in the U.K.  I dont really like the idea of giving them my cell phone number, to be honest.  I much prefer to just sign up online the usual way.
