I would like to fly to Greece on thursday 7/25, and return monday 7/29. We (myself and my wife) would like to fly safely and for free, or as close to free as possible. We currently only have a CapitalOne Visa Miles Program. What do you think? Thank you.”
I'm not seeing any good reward flights out there for this time frame. If you check out the website www.milewise.com, you can search for flights by CapitalOne miles — and they show it will cost 142,272 Capital One points for 1 round trip ticket. You can do it with 100,000 United Miles (coach class to Athens and business class back) per person, or 200,000 United miles. Its possible but this would be a VERY BAD deal. I would never spend that many points. If business class seats were available in both directions for 100,000 that could be worth it but you would still have to earn 200,000 points in a short time which would no be easy.
I suggest you keep checking back for some good credit card deals that will help you accumulate points
