THE CATCH?
You have to do 1,000 rides in 90 days. That's a lot of rides but it is do-able! It is about 11 rides per day. If you were looking to sign up and have plenty of free time in the next few months, this is for you. This would be really difficult to do part time – lyft is probably counting on not many people finishing the requirements. Maybe a $10,000 driver bonus is coming with a requirement of 2,000 rides in 6 months?

The offer briefly appeared a few days ago then was pulled! Here is the $5,000 bonus offer currently live. It may be pulled again at any moment.
There is a battle for drivers going on and it seems people are just jumping to whoever pays the most. Lyft quietly removed the cap on surge prices in hopes drivers won't switch to uber. Perhaps Lyft is testing the waters with this larger bonus with a longer term commitment.
The 4 asterisk **** means you have 90 days to complete the rides.

Do u have to live in LA city for the bonus 5000 or the county of LA
I think if you are within the LA coverage map you should be good
