Jet.com is giving everyone 20% off with promo code SURPRISE20. The startup that's trying to compete with Amazon and Costco is now 3-months old and wants to celebrate with a discount. Jet is hoping 20% off is incentive enough to get some larger orders this weekend. Offer valid this weekend only (through 10/19/15, although some websites are showing a 10/31/15 expiration date for new users).

To get the maximum discount of $50, you'll need to add $250 of products to your cart. Choose items with “extra savings” and you may end up spending less than $200 after the discount ($250 – $50 – extra savings).

EXAMPLE:

A colleague mentioned he spends a lot on toilet paper. If you too would like to stock up on toilet paper and save some money, add your items (doesn't have to be toilet paper) totaling at least $250 then enter the promo code SURPRISE20. You will see the maximum discount of $50 (I got $50.05, I'm not sure how).

 

Fine Print

Jet.com only ships to the 48 contiguous U.S. states and the District of Columbia. To qualify for free shipping, the order merchandise total before savings and estimated tax must be at least $35. Multiple orders cannot be combined to reach the $35. For orders less than $35, there will be a $5.99 shipping charge. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving items. Free returns not available if you waive returns in exchange for savings. Items returned must be in original condition with all packaging and tags.
