Juno, a new competitor for Uber and Lyft, is looking to expand beyond its initial New York City market. According to TheStreet.com, Juno has already reached 16,000 drivers in NYC. Not long ago, I wrote about Juno not long ago and it has proved extremely popular among drivers.
The company recently launched a low 10.5% commission guarantee for new drivers who will enjoy the reduced commission (instead of 13%) for Juno's first 24 months through 03/31/18. Compare that to 20-30% commission charged by competitors. Juno has not yet revealed which cities they will be expanding to but it seems as it will depend on where they get the most driver signups from. At least that's the story I was told when I called their support phone number.
