Isn’t David Lee the name of a fictional character on “The Good Wife”? Would be hillarious if somone nominated him- and he won!
Yep – had to look that one up. His real name Zach Grenier – (source IMDB) David Lee is a divorce lawyer with Stern, Lockhart & Gardner and an equity partner. He is the head of the family law division, which is responsible for a sizeable chunk of the firm’s income so he has more sway than Diane Lockhart or Will Gardner would like.
I’m not sure you’d actually be “lucky” to have a lucky name. Because of the taxes, winning travel isn’t very lucky. Airfare to Hawaii and 5 nights in a fancy hotel could easily be valued at 3x what your readers could actually acquire this travel for. Which means the prize might be worth zero after you paid the taxes.
Fair point on the taxes. But I just asked 3 buddies if they would be willing to pay the taxes in exchange for that vacation, they all said yes. Are you saying you wouldn’t be willing to pay anything in taxes?
