UBER, the app that lets you hail a cab is now cheaper than a New York City Taxi.  Take a Free Ride!
For now…

According to VentureBeat, UBER just cut their prices 20% kicking off a price war against yellow taxi's.  And this lower price includes the tip, so you save even more!  The typical fare will be able 1 or 2 dollars cheaper, includes the tip, and you can conveniently hail the cab where ever you are from your phone.

    • Jon, yes they give 1 free ride, though I can’t keep track of how much they provide in free rides if I refer someone. I know new users get a ride up to $30 if they sign up now but previously they were giving $10 to new users. Post your own referral code in the comments if you wish.
