THIS HAS BEEN REVOKED BY HYATT UNLESS YOU WORK AT MICROSOFT

Hyatt is offering to upgrade you to Platinum status for free!

The offer states it’s for Microsoft employees but as reported by Miles Points and Martinis, it seems anyone can sign up using this link:

http://hyatthotels.hyatt.com/content/partnerlandingpage/en/goldpassport/microsoft-fast-track.html?src=awin_US_191485&srcInfo=awin&awc=5369_1398117955_4f8728e0290a2753cd23dcf7844a5c60

The status change is not instant based on what people are saying.  Many hotel programs offer a status match/challenge which is similar but here you don’t need to provide proof of your status with a competing hotel chain.

The offer states you get platinum status until Feb 2015  which includes

  • 15% point bonus
  • in room internet access
  • 2pm late checkout
  • With only 4 stays or 10 nights, you will keep your platinum status through Feb 2016!
  • Full list of benefits is here

After that, if you complete 20 stays / 40 nights, you’ll be fast tracked to Diamond status also until Feb 2016 which includes

  • 30% point bonus
  • room upgrades (not including suites)
  • club lounge access with free breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres
  • suite upgrade certificates
  • welcome bonuses
  • 4pm late checkout
  • Full list of benefits is here
