  1. I actually did this exact same thing (apply for two BoA Alaska personal cards on the same day this week) even though I have two open already. I came across the site above through google and while I was approved for the first one, the other was pending. Unfortunately the reps consistently stated they do not make decisions and that is another department internally that cannot be contacted. I attempted to speak to 6 different individuals and kept getting the same message.

Seeing this post prompted me to check the site again to find I was indeed approved for the other card, just an FYI to others though.

  2. Thanks for this helpful post. @Derek – Thanks for the data point!

I applied for three AS cards last weekend. This is my first time applying for the AS card. Two personal – one approved, one still pending. One biz – approved. Hopefully, all three cards only cost 1 hard pull.

Looking at Derek’s comment, it looks like you don’t need to close existing AS cards before applying for new ones. Right? (Holding 2 and still got another 2 approved. Wow!)

I also wonder if there is a ‘max’ number of active AS cards before BoA says “you have too many AS open already so we cannot give you new ones”? Maybe 4 is the ideal number.

    TIA!

  3. Applied for five mlb cards with different logos. Got approved for all 5. Will let everyone know bonus results

  5. Hello, How an international student who do not have a SSN can check his credit card application status?

  6. I submitted an application on December 4th…..no updates as of yet from the application status center. I have not been able to contact a BOA agent. Any suggestions?

  7. Trying to check application status. Tried to put in birthday but only a calendar would show up birthday is 1946 how do I do this??Can’t find a quicker way than keep going through months & years. This is frustrating!!!

    • I don’t see a pop up calendar. On my end, I just type in the date. Not sure what the problem is?

  8. I know this is many years out but I applied and was pended via Norwegian Cruise Line. The application checker says no application found please try again later.

    Shouldn’t I see a pending status?
    Thanks!

  9. I have applied twice for an airline credit card and both times the application status can not be found in your system. Despite several attempts to reach anyone it is impossible to get any answers regarding this problem. Could you please let me know how to get this problem resolved so I can receive my points for a future flight,
